For my remix project, I am remixing Frozen into a horror movie trailer. I had completed a draft of the trailer and after some feedback, there is definitely some changes I will be making. For example, I am going to lower the volume of the music during the trailer because at some points, it is a bit overpowering especially during scenes where there is dialogue. Another change I will be making is taking out scenes that don’t really seem like they fit the overall spookiness of what I am trying to achieve. For example, there is a scene of Elsa standing at the alter with Anna after she is crowned, which seems unnecessary. There is another scene of an ice chandelier falling on to Elsa which I am taking out due to the fact that she is the antagonist of the story and this scene portrays her as the victim. It basically goes back on everything I set up in the trailer.

Another change I am making to my movie trailer is I am going to completely change the music. After my one-on-one with my teacher, feedback from my peers, and watching the trailer over a few times, I was feeling very underwhelmed with the music choice and I felt that I could have picked something better to give the trailer as a whole the mood I really wanted to create. In doing this, I had to change around the order of the scenes I chose, get rid of some, as well as adding in other scenes to fit the music I changed it to. People had said they liked the music I had originally chosen, and that I should try to fit the bell chimes to the scenes and move scenes when another bell chimes. I did something similar with the new music I chose, and I feel like it fits what I wanted a lot more. These are mainly all the big changes I am making to my trailer, and I am content with the outcome.
